Sir Tom Jones will launch a brand new album this 12 months.
The 80-year-old star revealed he has been ending a brand new file throughout the Covid-19 lockdown and he’s trying ahead to releasing it in 2021.
Speaking on ‘Jools Holland’s Annual Hootenanny’ present, he stated: “I recorded an album just before the lockdown, at the beginning of the year. During lockdown, we’ve been mixing it and putting it together. That’s what I’ll be looking forward to.”
Meanwhile, Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones lately praised Tom as “a second father” to him.
Kelly underwent surgical procedure to take away a polyp on his vocal cords in 2019, and developed an in depth bond with the music icon throughout his restoration.
He stated: “The only musician I called was Tom Jones because I thought Tom would have gone through it – he’s like a second father to me.
“He’s had plenty of expertise along with his throat in a really lengthy profession and was very encouraging, telling me to loosen up and giving me recommendation. It was good to have him to speak to about it.”
Kelly, 46, was in regular contact with Tom amid the coronavirus lockdown, and he’s even been invited to appear alongside Tom on ‘The Voice’.
He shared: “He has introduced just a few of his ‘Voice’ contestants to our exhibits. They requested me to go on ‘The Voice’ just a few occasions and it hasn’t labored out. I known as him so much throughout lockdown.”
