Rising demand lifts refined soya oil futures

New Delhi: Refined soya oil costs on Thursday rose by Rs 8.Three to Rs 912.four per 10 kg in futures commerce as speculators raised their bets. On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for October supply gained Rs 8.3, or 0.99 per cent, to Rs 912.four per 10 kg in 22,070 tons.

Refined soya oil contracts for November supply traded increased by Rs 7, or 0.77 per cent, to Rs 912 per 10 kg in 20,850 tons.

Analysts mentioned widening of positions by merchants primarily helped refined soya oil costs to commerce increased in futures market.
