MUMBAI: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has appointed a six member tutorial advisory council (AAC) to help its newly arrange faculty of supervisors (CoS) which is able to reinforce supervisory expertise amongst its regulatory and supervisory workers each at entry degree and on a steady foundation.

The CoS will probably be chaired by former RBI deputy governor NS Viswanathan whereas former RBI govt director Rabi Narayan Mishra has been appointed as a administrative head and non member director.

Other members of the CoS are former HDFC Bank DMD Paresh Sukthankar, former SBI MD Arijit Basu, IIM Bangalore professor S Raghunath, IIM Ahmedabad professor Tathagata Bandyopadhyay and IGIDR professor Subrata Sarkar.

“The AAC will identify areas where skill building/up-skilling are required, plan and develop curricula of all programmes, benchmark the programmes with international standards/best practices, develop appropriate teaching methods,” RBI mentioned in a launch on its web site.
