Nickel costs rose by 0.59 per cent to Rs 1,219.40 per kg in futures commerce on Friday as speculators constructed contemporary positions on rising demand from alloy makers in spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel contracts for January supply gained Rs 7.20, or 0.59 per cent, to Rs 1,219.40 per kg in a enterprise turnover of two,142 heaps.
