The first batch of 180 vehicles of the brand new i20 can be shipped to South Africa, Chile, and Peru, the corporate stated in a press release.
Last 12 months in November the corporate had launched the fourth era of the i20 mannequin in India priced between Rs 6.79 lakh and Rs 11.17 lakh (ex-showroom).
First launched in 2007, the i20 has been fashionable within the international markets and HMIL exported a complete of 5.16 lakh items until November 2020.

With 5.16 lakh exports since its first launch, the i20 is already a brand to reckon with even in the global markets,” HMIL Managing Director and CEO S S Kim stated.
The largest exporter of cars from India, HMIL, stated it surpassed the 30 lakh automobile export milestone earlier in 2020. The firm presently exports vehicles to 88 nations throughout 5 continents.
The firm crossed 5 lakh exports milestone in March 2008, and doubled it two years later in February 2010. In March 2014, the corporate crossed the 20 lakh cumulative exports milestone.
In 2020, the corporate exported a complete of 98,900 items, as in comparison with 1,81,200 items in 2019.
