WASHINGTON – President-elect Joe Biden stated Tuesday that the Trump administration’s refusal to authorize the beginning of the official transition course of “does not in any way change the dynamic of what we’re able to do.”
“We have already started the transition, we are well under way,” Biden stated at a press convention in Wilmington, Delaware.
Asked what he considered President Donald Trump’s refusal up to now to concede, Biden stated “I think it’s an embarrassment.”
Biden stated he was not reliant on the federal authorities authorizing funding for the transition. He additionally stated Republicans in Congress are “being mildly intimidated by the sitting president.”
